K.M.K.

Jewel is an Actress/Musician raised in Harlem, Brooklyn, and the Upper West Side.  Music has always been her Love & Passion but was put on the back burner when she started acting professionally (SAG, AFTRA, AEA).  While doing Theater, Film and Television, during slow periods, the urge to go back to her first love of music became so strong that she decided to learn how to read music and play her favorite instrument to stay creative artistically.  After playing in various Jazz Workshops, small ensembles and “The Vigilante Brothers Funk Band”, she had a desire to play the type of music that she heard being played by her mother, aunt's and uncles while growing up which was Blues, Soul and R&B

Kevin Michael Kennedy aka “K.M.K.” is a Singer/Actor born and raised in Brooklyn.  He started performing as a child playing various instruments such as the Violin, Clarinet, Cello and Bass Clarinet.  He made his professional debut at Lincoln Center when he was 14 years old.  He started to pursue singing and acting professionally appearing in many shows and concerts throughout the New York tri-state area, (SAG, AFTRA, AEA).  He appeared at St. John The Divine Cathedral and Forest Hills Tennis Stadium performing Back-Up vocals for the legendary Diana Ross. In 2007 he returned to Lincoln Center to perform in the production of “Cendrillon”!  In addition to his stage credits, K.M.K. has also appeared in T.V., Films, National Commercials and has done numerous Voice-Overs, including promo spots for SONY Music!

“The JewelTones” are a Classic Soul/R&B Cover Band!  The Band was

formed by Co-Founders Jewel Brimage (Musician/Actor) and K.M.K.

(Singer/Actor).  Jewel and K.M.K. met on a film set and became long time friends!  After finding out they both had music in common, they would talk less about acting and more about music!   After years of contemplating merging their talents, they finally took the first step in following their dream!  Since they both have a passion for the Classic Soul and R&B music, they decided that would be their foundation!  “The JewelTones” got off the ground with four members and a vision!   Now this 8 piece eclectic high energy band brings to the stage their experience from performing around the globe!  Known for their powerful vocals and female horn section, their specialty is bringing back the Soul/R&B sounds of yesterday, with the funky beats and the smooth vocal harmonies that we all love so well!  The timeless danceable hits that get your feet moving and bring back the memories of the good old days!  Music that rocks your soul, that’s the sound of “The JewelTones”!
